
Lyuying Guo
Hi! My name is Lyuying. I am a 3D Generalist with a focus on Rigging and Tool Development for Artists.
Both an artist and engineer at heart, I hold a deep curiosity for how everything works and how to make things work. Having completed a fine art Bachelor's degree in Los Angeles where I drew and painted on canvas every day, I am currently pursuing an MFA in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, studying technical art pipeline in animation and games. My strongest passion lies in character creation, and I enjoy spending the whole afternoon digging into its technical aspects. I use Maya and Houdini for most of my work, but I am always happy to evolve with industry trends.
In my free time, I like to explore indie game dev and web dev (I wrote this website myself), draw slice-of-life comics, and write articles about my observations and thoughts on the world around us.
